Old Lewesians Organisation

The Boys Grammar School formed an alumni organisation many years ago which has been run as a separate entity to the Chapel Trust. However, the ties between the two bodies have been very close with the OLO effectively being the main supporters of the Chapel Trust both financially and with personnel. As time has passed and the membership of the OLO is increasingly advanced in years, the maintenance of that organisation and its attendant website has got harder and harder and eventually there will come a time when the manpower is simply no longer there to carry on. Losing the valuable social history that is contained in the OLO website would be unfortunate.  Recognising that possibility, the OLO and Chapel Trust have decided that the public pages of the OLO website should be reproduced on the Chapel Trust website. As the Chapel Trust is affiliated with the Priory School, Lewes, there is reason to hope it will be able to carry on in perpetuity and thus the Trust website will remain as a depository of the OLO site history.
